SUCCESS STORIES
Proof of what real leadership and compassion can do.
Every story here began in a moment of crisis — a point where someone felt lost, overwhelmed, or pushed beyond their limits. Through mentorship, crisis navigation, faith, and steady leadership, lives were rebuilt, hope was restored, and new paths were created. These are real people, real battles, and real transformations. If you or someone you love is struggling, you’re not alone — and there is a way forward.
A Military Veteran’s Journey From Crisis to Stability
In 2015, a US Marine veteran suffering from traumatic brain injury, severe depression, and suicidal thoughts walked into the VA with his family — overwhelmed, slipping through the cracks, and desperate for help. The system wasn’t moving fast enough, and they felt completely alone.
That’s when we met.
From the first moments, Garret stepped in with clarity, presence, and leadership. He assessed the situation, built a plan of action, and personally guided the family through options, treatment pathways, and immediate next steps. When danger escalated, he didn’t walk away — he stayed with the veteran through the night, ensuring he wasn’t left behind or forgotten.
Through Garret’s contacts and advocacy, the veteran was admitted into a specialized treatment program. When he completed that stage, Garret continued supporting him through the next chapters of recovery — providing structure, mentorship, spiritual grounding, breathwork, rational behavior therapy, fitness routines, and daily accountability.
Over time, the transformation was profound:
stabilized traumatic brain injury
accurate bipolar diagnosis and proper medication
sobriety
consistency in routines and physical health
enrollment in college
graduation with a degree
meaningful employment
spiritual grounding
healthy relationships
independent living
long-term stability
Today, years later, he is a productive member of society — sober, stable, educated, grounded, and thriving. He still checks in from time to time, not in crisis, but for guidance on life, relationships, and staying aligned.
His mother said it best:
“There’s no doubt Garret saved my son’s life. The progress he’s made through Garret’s leadership, mentoring, and friendship has been amazing. I can never repay him for what he did for our family.”
A Young Survivor’s Journey From Trauma to Stability
In 2025, a grandmother reached out to me with a message filled with fear, heartbreak, and hope. Her 15-year-old granddaughter had endured a traumatic incident involving an adult, and the emotional aftermath was overwhelming. The young girl had spiraled into deep distress, engaging in serious self-harm behaviors, experiencing panic episodes, and fighting thoughts no teenager should ever have to face.
Her family was doing everything they could, but they were at their breaking point.
They didn’t know where to turn.
They didn’t know how to help her feel safe again.
They simply wanted her to survive this and find her way back.
That’s when we connected.
From the moment she came home from an adolescent mental-health facility, our work began. I focused on stabilizing her nervous system, helping her process the trauma in ways her mind and body could actually hold, and providing her family with clear, practical steps they could use every day.
We leaned into grounding techniques, structured routines, faith-based encouragement, and simple but powerful practices that help regulate the body after severe emotional shock. I guided her family in understanding triggers, supporting her through waves of fear, and creating an environment where she could breathe again.
Her grandmother kept me updated daily — and within days, the shift was noticeable.
She began sleeping.
The panic lifted.
Her energy softened.
She became more social, more open, more present.
She found peace in nature and around animals — a healing rhythm that became a cornerstone of her recovery.
Her grandmother later wrote:
“You are a miracle worker. Everything you share helps immediately. She is healing like you wouldn’t believe. We are so grateful — you are truly a gift from God.”
As the weeks went by, the family grew stronger. They held meetings, learned how to communicate with her without overwhelming her, and supported her in faith and in daily grounding routines. They followed every practice I gave them and watched their daughter and granddaughter begin to reclaim her life.
When the legal process arrived — something that would challenge any adult, let alone a teenager — she walked through it with clarity and courage. Her grandmother told me:
“Your prayers and your guidance got us through. She made it through the court process with strength. We are so proud of her — thank you for everything you’ve done.”
Today, this young girl is healing.
She spends time outdoors.
She smiles more.
She reads her Bible at night.
She enjoys fishing and being around the people she trusts.
She found her footing again — something her family once feared might never happen.
Her grandmother summed it up best:
“She has been through so much, but she is strong — and your support helped us find our way through this. We can never thank you enough.”
